Brookside Office Park Asphalt Mill, Pave & Striping Project
The project covered approximately 2,100 yards of existing asphalt and included new paving and updated parking lot striping.
Project Overview
Chamberlain Contractors recently completed pavement improvements at a commercial property in Alexandria, Virginia. The project included milling and repaving approximately 2,100 square yards of existing asphalt, helping refresh the property’s aging pavement and create a smoother, cleaner surface.
In addition to the paving work, Chamberlain updated the parking lot striping, including 47 parking spaces, ADA markings, and additional pavement marking. The project was completed during off-hours to help minimize disruption to the facility, with safety measures in place throughout the work. The result was a refreshed, more organized parking area designed to better support the property and those who use it.
Project Challenge
The work required updating the pavement while minimizing disruption to the property. The team worked during off-hours and maintained designated work areas to help keep the site safe and accessible throughout the project.
Scope of Work
Chamberlain milled the existing asphalt and installed a new surface across approximately 2,100 yards. The project also included improvements to the lower lot and updated striping, including parking spaces, ADA markings, and additional pavement markings.
Project Outcome
The completed work gave the property a refreshed pavement surface and updated parking lot layout, creating a cleaner, more organized and functional space for those using the facility.
