The Process
Sealcoating helps to reduce repairs and replacement costs and maximize the lifespan of your pavement. There are steps we follow every time we perform a sealcoating service.
Prepare
We remove debris and other obstructions from the surface and clean it to ensure the sealcoat material adheres correctly. We also repair any damaged areas.
Edge and Tape
We use tape and other tools to seal off any areas that don’t need sealcoat treatment.
Apply the Sealcoat
Depending on the type and size of your pavement, we’ll apply a cool-tar-based or asphalt-based sealcoat using a spray or squeegee system.
Coat Application
To ensure proper adhesion and a smooth surface, we apply a sealant layer on top of the sealcoat material.
Dry and Cure
We allow the sealcoat to dry and cure for 12 to 36 hours.
Striping and Markings
We apply new lane markings, parking lines, and more once the curing period is over.
