Refreshing existing pavement, improving select areas of the property, and updating parking lot features.
Project Overview
Chamberlain Contractors recently completed pavement improvements for a condominium community in Greenbelt, Maryland. The project included resurfacing approximately 4,177 square yards of existing asphalt, along with targeted repairs to another 430 square yards. The work refreshed key areas of the property and provided a smoother, more durable surface for the community.
The project also included the installation of a speed hump, updated parking lot striping, curb painting, and parking blocks. New markings included parking spaces, ADA symbols, crosswalks, and a stop marking. By combining pavement improvements with parking area updates, Chamberlain helped create a cleaner, more organized space designed to better serve residents and visitors.
Project Challenge
The property needed improvements across several pavement and parking areas while maintaining a smooth, functional space for residents and visitors.
Scope of Work
Chamberlain milled and repaved approximately 4,177 square yards of asphalt and completed additional pavement repairs across approximately 430 square yards. The project also included the installation of one speed hump, updated parking lot striping with parking spaces and ADA markings, curb painting, and the installation of parking blocks.
Project Outcome
The completed improvements refreshed key pavement areas throughout the property and gave the parking areas a cleaner, more organized appearance. The combination of paving, repairs, updated markings, and parking improvements helped create a more functional space for the community.
