Whittier Elementary School – Modular Campus
New pavement for Washington, DC elementary school parking lot and walking path, along with improvements to an existing paved area.
Project Overview
Chamberlain Contractors completed paving improvements at an elementary school in Washington, DC, helping create more functional spaces for students, staff, and visitors. The project included approximately 756 square yards of new asphalt paving for the parking lot, 578 square yards for a walking path, and resurfacing of existing pavement.
Along with the paving improvements, Chamberlain completed parking lot striping and stone placement to help bring the different areas of the campus together. By addressing multiple site needs as part of one project, the team delivered a refreshed, cohesive campus layout designed to support the day-to-day needs of the school community.

The project required improvements across several areas of the school campus while creating smooth, consistent surfaces for students, staff, and visitors.
Scope of Work
Chamberlain paved approximately 756 square yards for the parking lot and 578 square yards for a walking path. The team also resurfaced existing asphalt and completed parking lot striping. Stone placement was also included as part of the project.
Project Outcome
The completed improvements added new paved areas and refreshed existing asphalt across key areas of the school campus. Updated parking lot markings also helped create cleaner, more organized spaces for the school community.
